The OCNT program encourages continuing education, improves the public profile of the industry, and increases an individual’s hiring potential.

Landscape Industry Certified Program
ONLA partners with the National Association of Landscape Professionals to offer this national written and hands- on testing program in Ohio.

Ohio Green Industry Advocacy Day
This one-day event connects legislators with industry professionals. Advocacy Day is your opportunity to tell your
story, learn about current issues, and have an impact on legislation that will affect your businesses.


 

INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION

Scholarship Program
ONLA awards scholarships each year to college students as well as high school FFA students.

Ohio High School Landscape Olympics
This annual competition tests students’ skills through hands-on events designed by industry professionals.
OHLO broadens the high school education experience and introduces students to the many opportunities offered by a career in the green industry.

 
 

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Midwest Green Industry Experience, MGIX, is a dynamic, engaging forum where industry professionals can meet, learn, buy and sell.

MGIX attracts a national audience, with thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors comprising nursery and greenhouse growers, retail garden centers, landscape architects, designers and contractors, turf and pest management professionals and arborists.


The three-day conference takes place every January in Columbus, Ohio and features an expansive exhibit hall, industry-leading education sessions, and special events.
