Do you want more one-on-one contact with designers, architects and design/build owners? ... Read This!

We have the solution... Nursery Tours!  ONLA’s landscape, exhibits and education committees have designed a program to increase traffic and attract qualified buyers to the expo floor. Landscape architects, designers, design/build owners and team leaders will take guided tours to learn from plant material suppliers and earn CEUs.

Who can participate in a Nursery Tour? CENTS green goods exhibitors like you!* We are offering seven, 60-minute tours, three on Monday and Wednesday and one tour Tuesday. Each Nursery Tour features 4 exhibitors and up to 20 attendees. Tours are a great way to share your products, installation recommendations and expertise with buyers.

Here’s how Nursery Tours will work:

  1. Seven, 60-minute tours of up to 20 attendees per tour will visit select exhibitors during CENTS. Each tour exhibitor has a 10-minute interval to provide attendees insight into their firm’s expertise, specialties, new and best performing plants materials.

  2. Only CENTS exhibitors, who supply Green Goods (per exhibitor form) with current balances are eligible.*

  3. Each tour will include ONE exhibitor per category below selected via random drawing.

  1. Bedding plants, perennials and ground covers

  2. Conifers and evergreens

  3. Trees and shrubs [flowering and shade]

  4. Grasses and natives

  1. Tour assignments will be made based on the #1 and #2 sales volume categories using A-D above per exhibitor tour application form.   Tours will be filled by day and time in turn, by random selection to include one each of category A-D per tour. Backups will also be drawn to provide alternative participants in the event of cancelled or forfeited slots.* Note: Any one exhibitor will ONLY receive multiple assignments, if applications or categories are fewer than the 28 slots required [4 slots per tour times 7 tours, Monday-Wednesday].

  3. Exhibitors will be notified of tour assignments in November.  Tour assignments REQUIRE CONFIRMATION via  fee payment of $100 paid to ONLA by December 1st, 2015.*

  4. Tour exhibitors are required to prepare talking points for the 10-minute presentation based on the outline provided and to have marketing materials and qualified staff at their booth for the assigned day/time.

    *ONLY green goods exhibitors whose booth contracts and fees are current are eligible to submit a tour form.  Tour application deadline is November 13th. Late applications forfeit an exhibitor’s eligibility. Exhibitors who fail to pay the $100 fee to confirm/retain tour assignment by December 1st, 2015 forfeit their assignment. Backup exhibitors will be allocated to tour assignments forfeited by non-payment of cancellation using the process above.
