ONLA Announces Executive Director Resignation

Westerville, Ohio, April 20, 2015 — The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) Board of Directors announces the resignation of Executive Director, Kevin Thompson, effective immediately.
ONLA Past President, Dick Posey of Buckeye Resources, Inc., will act as Interim Executive Director. Posey currently serves on the ONLA Budget, Policy and Review Committee as well as the ONLA Legislative Committee.
"I look forward to continuing to serve the association during this transition period. As always the ONLA staff team will strive to provide the membership with effective benefits and valuable resources,” said Posey.
ONLA President Mike Dues states, "As the association moves forward with the selection process to fill the position of ONLA Executive Director, the ONLA Board is committed to service, growth and success of the Green Industry businesses. We will continue to move forward with exciting education, new membership meetings, CENTS Convention planning and much more.”
The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) leads, promotes and facilitates the success and growth of green industry businesses. ONLA is a non-profit trade association, incorporated in the State of Ohio, representing the interests of the state’s nursery, garden center and landscape industry.
The Central Environmental Nursery Trade Show (CENTS), ONLA’s annual convention, is scheduled for January 11-13, 2016 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio. The trade show is open to persons in the nursery and landscape industry.
ONLA Membership is comprised of nursery stock growers, landscape contractors and maintenance firms, garden centers, arborists and allied suppliers. With over 1,300 members, ONLA seeks to enhance the environment and quality of life for all.
