Mission: To develop and promote certification and educational programs for the further advancement of professionalism in the green industry. 

Budget Policy Review
Mission: To provide experienced guidance on Budget and Policy Matters of the ONLA.

Distinguished Contribution Award
Mission: To recognize and honor outstanding contributions to the nursery industry.

Greenhouse Growers
Mission: To promote and support the Ohio greenhouse industry through the identification of challenges to the industry and the exploration of solutions through marketing, consumer awareness and ONLA resources.

Nursery Growers
Mission: To serve the needs and ideas of the grower industry, and support the Ohio Certified Nursery Technician Program.

Landscape Awards
Mission: To promote pride and professionalism in the industry by providing a showcase for award-winning projects through competition to all Ohio firms.

Landscape Contractor
Mission: To maintain and promote the highest standards within the profession. To support all ONLA and PLANET certification programs. To develop a positive image of the green industry through award-winning landscape projects. 

Legislative
Mission: To proactively review and beneficially affect the legislative and regulatory process for the green industry.  

Membership
Mission: To maintain, acquire, retain and serve membership firms by reviewing existing services and implementing new services that would help increase members'' profitability  

Program/Short Course
Mission: Develop with The Ohio State University a plan for a high-quality educational program for the green industry.

Research
Mission: To improve the quality of service to the Ohio nursery and landscape industry through research. 

Retail
Mission: To acknowledge and promote the needs and concerns of the retail garden centers and support the Ohio Certified Nursery Technician program.

Scholarship & Student Activities
Mission:  To serve as liaison between the ONLA, educators, students, and industry. To attract quality people to the green industry.
