National Certification Gives You The Edge!
National Certification: Landscape Industry Certified
Certification is an important part of any landscape company. That’s why the Landscape Industry Certification program deserves your attention. A Landscape Industry Certified Technician is a landscape professional who has been certified through a national “hands-on” testing program licensed to state organizations and developed by PLANET. The ONLA has teamed with the Ohio Landscapers Association (OLA) and the Ohio State University's Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) to bring this program to Ohio.
Landscape contractor supervisors, foremen, and field technicians who are certified as Landscape Industry Certified are recognized as qualified professionals. This can mean better wages and enhanced profits as the public becomes more aware of the benefits of doing business with a certified professional. National certification gives companies a way of meeting increased consumer demand for professional landscaping.
The program sponsored by Ohio now has five specializations: Irrigation, Hardscape Installation, Softscape Installation, Turf Maintenance & Ornamental Maintenance.
