Dick Posey is the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association (ONLA) immediate past president and has diligently served the industry. Dick has served the ONLA in a variety of ways throughout his years in the Green Industry, including acting on both the Legislative and Exhibits committees. In 1998, he was elected to the ONLA Board of Directors, and served as president in 2002. Currently, he serves as a member of the Budget Policy Review Committee.

Dick was named recipient of the ONLA Award of Merit in 2000 and the Grassroots Volunteer of the Year in 2009. He has been in the lawn and garden business in Central Ohio since 1968, starting his career as a junior in high school. He worked for Garden Sales of Ohio between 1974 and 1984 and in 1984, he became president of his own company, Buckeye Resources, in South Charleston, Ohio.

Dick has lived in Worthington since 1964 and has been married to his wife, Marylou, for 39 years. They have three sons, Josh, Judd, and Jacob, who are all involved in his business. He has two grandchildren, Jack and Keira, from his son Josh and his daughter-in-law, Sara.
