Jay Daley of Sunleaf Nursery in Madison, Ohio, was elected President of the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association (ONLA) on January 25, 2011 at the ONLA Annual Business Meeting.

He started in the green industry in Illinois working with annuals, perennials and sod. Jay graduated from the OSU-Agricultural Technical Institute in 1978 and started at Sunleaf Nursery in 1992 as sales manager. By 2011 he was a general manager at Sunleaf.

Jay has actively participated in ONLA committees for the past 13 years, including nine years as the certification committee chair. He joined the board of directors in 2010. Once of his goals is to attract younger generations to careers in the green industry and rejuvenate the industry.
