Presented by the Ohio Chapter International Society of Arboriculture, this event is just one of many monthly events held at Woodland that are free educational programs for green industry professionals interested in meeting and networking with other industry professionals while learning. Bring your lunch and hang out with green industry professionals while simultaneously earning ISA continuing education units (pending approval). Each of these monthly events start at 12:00 pm with networking, 12:30 pm with educational programs and concludes at 1:30 pm.

What You Will Learn: What is a tree hazard? What is tree risk assessment? What is TRAQ? Wood decay and why it matters, tree defect identification-branch unions, splits/seams-response growth and internal wood decay.

About the Instructors: Mark Webber is a Board-Certified Master Arborist and a Certified Professional Horticulturist with nearly forty years of relevant professional experience. He is a practicing arborist and horticulturist who provides investigations, reports and testimony in matters related to tree condition, maintenance and removal; management of nursery, arboricultural and landscaping operations; and an assortment of horticultural issues. Rich Pearson is a degreed horticulturist and retired chief horticulturist from both Chadwick Arboretum in Columbus and Cox Arboretum in Dayton.

Cost is FREE – Suggest $20 donation to the Ohio Chapter’s Scholarship Fund
