Gay Williams - Executive Director

Ms. Gay Williams comes to ONLA with over 20 years of business and management experience, including expertise in the areas of finance, human resources, training and organizational development and business process improvement.  Over twelve years of her career was spent at FedEx Logistics (formerly Roadway Logistics) in Hudson, Ohio.

Her subsequent experience includes more than six years in association management where she has served a diverse group of industries through her work as meetings manager for the American Chemical Society-Rubber Division in Akron, OH; as the director of education and events at the Arizona Multi-housing Association in Phoenix, AZ; and, most recently, as training manager for the Northwest Public Power Association, based in Vancouver, WA.

Jennifer Gray - Associate Director

Jennifer Gray joined the ONLA Staff Team in 1998. Jennifer is responsible for ONLA print and electronic publications, the ONLA's websites (BuckeyeGardening.com and ONLA.org), handles association advertising sales and sponsorships, and assists in developing and promoting educational seminars. She also works with the ONLA''s scholarship and grant programs and coordinates the annual job fair. Jennifer earned a Bachelor's of Arts in English from Otterbein College and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators. She lives in the ''burbs'' with her husband and two cats.

Roni Petersen - Membership & Certification Coordinator

Roni Petersen joined the ONLA Staff Team in late 2006. Her main responsibilities include welcoming new members, arranging membership renewals, coordinating committee volunteers, and administrating all aspects of the OCNT certification program. Roni is the liaison to ONLA endorsed business providers and works closely with the ONLA membership committee in maintaining and developing valuable membership benefits and tools. Roni is a graduate of Ohio University and currently resides in the central Ohio area with her husband and two children. She enjoys dancing, bowling and spending time with her family.

Susan Compton - Trade Show/Event Manager

Susan Compton joined the ONLA Staff Team in April 2008.  Susan’s responsibilities includes management of the annual CENTS Show, coordinates various meetings and events for the association, including PAC fundraisers and the Landscape Awards Program.  Susan brings with her more than ten years of meeting and event planning experience.  Susan resides in central Ohio and enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and three girls, and the great outdoors.  

Vivienne Patlovich - Secretary

Vivienne Patlovich has been the pleasant voice of the ONLA since joining the Staff Team in 2001.  Vivienne is the primary telephone customer service contact.

Caitlin Ward - Communications Intern

Caitlin Ward joined the ONLA staff in September 2007 as the communications intern. She is a junior at Otterbein College with a major in English and a minor in History. She enjoys reading, playing cards and traveling.
